Ava visits Portland & San Francisco Bookstores!

I visited three bookstores in Portland and San Francisco last week to promote ‪#‎Avathemonsterslayer‬. All were very different, not only in store layout and types of books they carried, but in location. I was welcomed by all and they eagerly took our bookmarks and pins. Here’s what I was told by a few book store employees when I pitched Ava’s book. “Did you know Ava is a very popular name? My granddaughter and three girls in her kindergarten classroom are named Ava!” Another person said, “This book looks great! I have moms & dads come in here a lot and ask for books that don’t just have girls with princess stuff in it.” And I was able to speak with a children’s book buyer and he said he was meeting with the Skyhorse Publishing, Inc. reps. in a few weeks and will definitely order our book!
